The other venues are undergoing final preparations and will be open to the public in 2026.

II. Admission Rules

Ticketing:
Online: Visitors can purchase tickets via the museum's WeChat mini-program.
On-site: Visitors can purchase tickets via Self-service Ticket Machine or Information Desk of the Service Center on 1F, Gallery 1.

Tickets are valid on the day of purchase. Each ticket allows one person for single entry to Gallery 4 and Gallery 7.

*When the number of visitors in the museum exceeds the maximum daily capacity or instantaneous capacity, the museum will implement visitor flow restriction measures. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please queue up and wait patiently.

III. Opening Hours

Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00-17:00
Monday: Closed
Last Admission: 16:00

*The museum may adjust opening hours or temporarily close some venues for maintenance. Please check Suzhou MoCA's website and WeChat account for the up-to-date information.

IV. Plan Your Visit

Address: No. 99, You’an Street, Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, 215000.

High-Speed Train:

  • Suzhou Station: Take Metro Line 4 to "Sunwujinianyuan Station", then transfer to Line 8 to "Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art Station" (Exit 1).
  • Suzhoubei Station: Take Metro Line 2 to "Yangchenghuzhonglu Station", then transfer to Line 8 to "Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art Station" (Exit 1).
  • Suzhouyuanqu Station:Take Metro Line 8 to "Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art Station" (Exit 1).

Public Transportation:

  • Metro: Metro Line 8 to "Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art Station" (Exit 1).
  • Bus:
    • Bus Routes 121 or 219 to "Ferris Wheel Park Station". 
    • Bus Routes 1030 or Jinji Lake Holiday Tourist Line (only on weekends and public holidays, not in service on weekdays) to "Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art South Station".
       

Parking:

  • Hotel Indigo Suzhou Jinji Lake Car Park: No. 80, You'an Street, Suzhou Industrial Park.
  • Fenglonghui Mall Underground Car Park: Fenglonghui Mall, Jinrong Street, Suzhou Industrial Park.
     

Public transport is strongly recommended especially on weekends and public holidays.

V. Visitor Guidelines and Policies

All visitors are required to enter with valid tickets and undergo security checks.

Prohibited items:

  1. Flammable and explosive materials (including balloons), corrosive substances, controlled knives, and other hazardous items.
  2. Printed materials, promotional items, slogans, banners, flags, and other items that violate relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Backpacks and handbags/knapsacks larger than 30cm × 42cm × 10cm (equivalent to A3 size); oversized luggage (can be stored for free at the Service Center with staff assistance) and other items such as backpacks and umbrellas (can be stored for free at the self-service lockers on 1F, Gallery 1 or at the entrances of Gallery 4 and Gallery 7).
  4. Food or drinks.
  5. Animals (exception for guide dogs).
  6. Other items that may affect visitors' viewing experience or the safety of exhibits.


Visitor code of conduct:

  1. The museum will refuse entry to individuals who are intoxicated or dressed inappropriately. 
  2. Children or individuals with limited mobility must be accompanied by others during their visit.
  3. Eating, drinking, or chewing gum is prohibited in the museum.
  4. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes or any other smoking devices, is prohibited inside the gallery.
  5. Please help maintain exhibition order, comply with on-site management, and enter and exit in an orderly manner.
  6. Please maintain a safe distance while queuing.
  7. Running, chasing, climbing, lying down or any other disruptive behavior is prohibited in the museum.
  8. Please respect all exhibits and facilities. Climbing over barriers, touching, defacing or damaging exhibits is strictly prohibited.
  9. Flash, selfie sticks, tripods, gimbals, or any other auxiliary photographic equipment is prohibited for photography and video recording.
  10. Media personnel who need to use the aforementioned equipment for work purposes are required to register and apply in advance. Photography is prohibited in exhibitions where shooting is restricted.
  11. Without prior permission from the museum, no entity or individual shall conduct activities such as guided tours, lectures, surveys, performances, commercial filming, self-media live streaming, or commercial recording on the premises.
  12. Please take care of your personal and property safety, keep the environment clean, and conduct yourself in a civilized manner during your visit.
  13. In case of any emergency, please follow staff instructions and evacuate via the designated route.
     

Anyone who violates the above regulations will be subject to the termination of their behavior and ordered to leave the museum. For individuals or groups that refuse to comply with management, disrupt the normal visiting order, or cause adverse effects, relevant responsibilities will be pursued in accordance with the law based on the severity of the circumstances.

VI. Supporting Services

Information Service:

Visitors can collect free exhibition brochures and other materials at the Service Center.

Drinking Water Service: 

Self-service mineral water purchase service is available at the corridor on B1, Gallery 7.

Storage Service:

Lockers are located on 1F, Gallery 1 and at the entrances of Gallery 4 and Gallery 7. Please keep valuables with you.
(Lockers are available from 10:00 to 17:00. The museum conducts daily locker cleaning. For any items left behind, please contact the Service Center at 0512-62638999 during opening hours. Items left in the lockers beyond a specified period will be disposed of as unclaimed property.)

Wheelchair and Baby Stroller Service:

Free wheelchair and stroller rental is available in the gallery. A deposit of 100 yuan is required for use and will be refunded to the original payment method upon return of the items. Please register at the Service Center.

Lost and Found:

  1. If you lose any items in the museum, please register at the Service Center in a timely manner.
  2. If you have already left the museum, please call 0512-62638999 for inquiries.
     

Emergency Response:

The Service Center is equipped with a first-aid kit and provides assistance.

  1. If you feel unwell, please contact the staff in a timely manner.
  2. If you become separated from your family or friends, please go to the Service Center and request the public address announcement service from the staff.
VII. Group and Guided Tour Services

Group Services:

Group visits (for 20 or more people) must be consulted and reserved by contacting the staff at the Service Center on 1F, Gallery 1, or via email: info@suzhoumoca.com. Children in the group must be accompanied by adults and all visitors are required to register information before entering the gallery.

Free Guided Tour:

  1. "BIG:Materialism" (Gallery 7): Three sessions daily at 11:00, 14:00 and 15:30, each lasting about 20 minutes (The 14:00 session every Saturday is conducted in English);
  2. "Director's Room: Cai Chusheng" (Gallery 4): One session daily at 14:45, lasting about 30 minutes.


Please gather at the entrance of the corresponding gallery.
The museum reserves the right to adjust or cancel the guided tour services according to actual circumstances, with the on-site arrangements prevailing.
