Collections are the unique resources and essential characteristics of museums. How can collections better align with the diverse functions of contemporary museums? How can we break through the existing collection system and further blur the boundaries between exhibition and education, so that they jointly serve the overall interpretation of the museum? The 11th lecture of “Right Bank Lecture” invited Professor Zhou Jingjing from the Department of Cultural Heritage and Museology at Fudan University to interpret the topic of “Educational Activity Collections”. Professor Zhou discussed the future possibilities of museum education with the audience from four aspects: the introduction background of the topic, concept definition and value, development process and characteristic experiences, as well as inspiration and exploration.
