Professor Chen Xiaoyang, Executive Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Museum, visited the 12th “Right Bank Lecture” of Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art, delivering a lecture titled “Grounded in Localities and Communities : Art Museums and Regional Art Ecosystem” at the Suzhou Industrial Park Library. The lecture delved into the connotations of key concepts such as “locality” and “community”, and combined abundant independent social art practices with art museum exhibition practices to share how art can effectively intervene in society, connect urban and rural areas, and activate cultural self-awareness and identity.
