The Right Bank Academy of Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art invited Meng Yao, a cross-cultural researcher, art curator, and editor-in-chief of Art Monthly, to deliver a special lecture at the Suzhou Industrial Park Library. Focusing on the exhibition "Art Monthly: 1974-2024", the lecture delved into the distinctive curatorial strategies and the significance of literary exhibitions in the digital era. The practice of the Art Monthly 50th anniversary exhibition is an experiment in what a literature exhibition can be today: rather than simply reviving the past, it uses the curator’s editorial insight and new technologies to give historical material a fresh narrative structure and contemporary relevance.
